Wow so it's been a while...
I never wanted such huge gaps between strips but unfortunately I have been super busy with freelance work etc.
I had this one half done and sitting on my hard-drive for a while so when a gap in my schedule presented itself I took the opportunity to finish this up.

This one stems from a real life ant infestation in my house during the summer. Luckily for me I could whip out a can of bugspray!

So you've probably noticed that I haven't updated for a while and apologize profusely. Some freelance projects came up that demanded my attention and unfortunately Week Daze had to take a back seat.

In the next few weeks I hope to get a whole bunch of strips done so that I can post weekly on a regular basis. Better for me, better for you! :D

Week Daze #8 - What's in a name?

So little background first. This strip is kinda like a tribute to one of my favourite movies! A little-known Aussie film called Hercules Returns where a trio have to provide an impromptu voiceover on an Italian Hercules movie. There's a bit in the movie where a group of guys go see Sampson and Delilah and then a gag involving her name and a Tom Jones song ensues... hilarious!

Speaking of this movie, I had it on VHS a long time ago but then the tape went missing. I always wanted it and could never find it, then just this past week a co-worker manages to find it on DVD! What a weird coincidence.

Oh and a big up to my bro (of JUVIES fame) for helping me with the funny in this strip!

Bam! Another strip on 'deadline'... yeehaw! Well Im pretty sure this has happened to many a Mac user... you're going about your business, getting work done when all of a sudden... the veil drops down and you get the Grey Chinese Screen of Death!! (pretty much the equivalent of the PC Blue Screen of Death!) You have to restart the machine and then you realise that you also haven't saved in the last 10 mins or more... which to a digital artist is a veeeeery long time and a looooot of work.

Hey, it can happen to anyone.

Welcome to Week Daze, the semi weekly/bi-weekly/monthly webcomic that tries not to suck too badly.

Week Daze actually started quite a few years ago when I was in college. I created a strip called School Daze which was about a bunch of high school kids and their various hi-jinks. I didn't do too many of them and I think only 3 of them actually made it to full colour status. They are available for viewing in my DeviantArt gallery...

Fast forward to the present where I decided to re-invent School Daze. Now the characters are all grown up and in crappy jobs... just like me!

Hopefully I can churn out Week Daze fairly regularly but we'll see about that...
